Sorry if this is a rant but need to get this off my chest.

In Bangkok if you travel down any reasonable sized soi in the evenings you will no doubt pass this games shops where (generally) filled with pre and teenage boys playing away. On upper suk soi where I live I counted 15 shops like this in 3 kms last night - all packed with kids.

While I don't have a major beef with a little playstation in the home now and again, I wonder if it's just the fact that the parents of all these kids are just happy to have them not around the house - or is it apathy

Even my neighbor's kids spend all night up in their rooms 7 days a week on their PC playing computer games. I am sure someone will say it's better than them out riding around on motorbikes etc getting into trouble but is nobody else concerned?

As a farang I have my opinion, would be interested to here if any local parents on TV have an opinion on this?

Anyways rant over.
