Hi,

Can anyone here tell me what city/pier that the Seatran Discovery Express ferry is leaving from on Koh Samui ?

And maybe recommend a hotel near to that place ? With contact information please.

If you're referring to the ferry for Koh Phangan and Koh Tao, it leaves near Big Buddha. Samui mermaids hotel near by has good deals and is just about in walking distance.

The Seatran ferry leaves from the pier near the big buddha but not from the big buddha pier. If you follow my meaning. The big buddha pier is where the 7/11 that burnt down was. I have seen many a person get out of a taxi watch it drive off only to find they are at the wrong pier and are looking for the Songsem boat.

seatran runs twice a day at 8am and 1-30pm and the mermaid is cheap and good value

When you check into the Mermaid tell them you would like a drop off at the seatran pier in the morning. They will drop you there in the pick up truck. its around 2 mins from the hotel

Last time I've seen her, she was getting some work done at Dongsak.Well I suppose there is a couple called discovery.But the one with the red hull was being worked on.

Wouldn't count on the fact that a ticket is waiting for you when you show up. With all the folks that I knew who used the online booking service, it just didn't work, when they arrived they got blank stares.

This time of the year no real need to make a reservation anyway.
