Capsized Tourist Boats?

Featured Replies

Ok, it was only a sentence in the Bangkok Post and I haven't seen it yet verified in the local media (although it's still early morning) does anyone have any more info on this?:

"In Chon Buri, monstrous waves believed to be caused by the storm sank tourist ferries in Pattaya. No casualties were reported."

Maybe that is the same boat that caused 1,000,000 baht in damages to the Seafood restaurants in Walking Street because it hadn't been moored properly?

That would tie in with the usual appalling standard of BP's sloppy reporting.

Some boats (e not just one) SINK, the report suggesting tourists in danger but seemingly mercifully saved, another boat, with nobody on board, slips its moorings at night and hits a resturant.
