wayfarer108
What are the options for reaching Pranburi from Bangkok? Is there any regular minibus/van service, like the one to Hua Hin from the Vic Monument?
splitlid
the mini vans dont go that far, so, maybe get off at hua hin and get the regular bus/taxi/tuk tuk to pran buri. there is a bus from bangkok that used the bypass and misses hua hin, but its a regular bus and not very comfy. stgrhe
Some buses that leave Bangkok from the Southern Terminal go to Prachuab Khiri Khan via Hua Hin and Pranburi. You can also go by train.
sabaijai
The train to Hua Hin takes twice as long as the van and only 3rd class is available, so not an option.

tigerboy
The vans to Pran Buri leave from the northwest quadrant of the Victory Monument. They arrive near the new Lotus Tesco in PranBuri and take the highway 4 bypass around Hua Hin. Cost is about 200 baht I recall, takes about 3 hours.
