I know that there are a lot of you guys here from the US. There is a guy who has come to live near me, 60ish, with a Thai Wife andI think that he is feeling a bit out of it...missing the US of A... So do you guys meet up somewhere now and again..association etc. We live on the border of BK and Nonthaburi, T.Bangtalad. Any suggestions and I'll pass them on to him......thanks.... ps he doesn't drink a lot or play golf!

There is the Pattaya City Expats Club of course in Pattaya and most of its members are USA types so maybe there is a similar organization in the BKK area?

The VFW post here in Pattaya accepts folks in for a chat and comradeship any day of the week and I would believe the post in BKK would not turn away an American looking to talk or for help.
