It almost always goes away in a less then an hour. Thursday night and Friday morning was a bit different as the remnants of Ketsana passed over. TH
October 2, 200916 yr hi.. im going to bangkok on this 5th oct monday for 3days holiday. i heard that it was raining every day? will the rain stop next week? No worries. It doesn't rain all the time, but afternoon and evening thunderstorms for 1 hour or 2 are very likely in Bangkok during October. Rest of the time it's hot and sunny. I don't see it can be a problem, just enjoy your holidays

More specifically, we usually get rain between 5-7pm for an hour ago - when we get rain. now if there is a typhoon in the area - all bets are off. the good news is that september is supposed to be our rainiest month in Thailand and this has passed. Depending where you come from (UK, Seattle, Vancouver), comparably our rain is usually short lived, very heavy.
