Adsl In Phuket

Featured Replies

Hi, does anyone have any recommendation's for ADSL Internet connection in Phuket, suitable for a corporate connection, would like something with guaranteed 256K incoming without spending 30-40K per month

Thanks

I think for a more quality service than TOT / TT&T you should look at JI net..

Pretty good pricing compared with loxinfo etc.. You can push them into a 5:1 user ratio and speeds I had with them were usually 90% of what they said they should be..

2500 baht gets you 512/256 and OK service IIRC..

I have just set up a Hinet package though and despite its drawbacks (some blocked ports.. Little in the way of support.. Dont even know if theres a SMTP) but his 1 Mbit line is 600 kbps on average and pretty consistant.. However this is on a 50:1 contention so you never know if it will stay ok..

thanks livinlos, just read your other posts about Ji net, maybe I should see how you get on with that first :o seems the biggest problem is getting guarenteed bandwidth, but thats what I need.
