About to go on a visa run to Poipet and just heard from the GF's sister that the Cambodian Immigration is requiring all Falangs that are going to the casinos to leave their passport with immigrations.

Anybody have any news on this?

Also, can anyone recommend a legit website to get a Cambodian visa from?

One that will cover me for a couple of days of gambling.

hello for my experience in poipet was not realy good the police ask me 500 baht for vip service and i was setting for wait my passport and i see the police man put some money on is pucket and thai people paid only 200 baht for the same service i dont go anymore there im so glad so advice go whit a tour from khao san road you will paid 2000 baht round trip included or somme 1800 now i have my ED Visa yesss lol

Never heard of immigration taking passports I Live 15 K from the border and the wifes brother in law works for immigration, exit Thailand cross the small bridge and turn right go to tables and ask nice Cambodian immigration officer for form he will help you fill it out dont forget your photos pay him 1000 bhat cost of 1 month visa if you intend to stay for a few days get free bus down to passport control about 2 mins down road on right hand side of road and get entry stamp when you leave go to exit control on left hand side of road and head back to Thailand, if you are just doing a border run pay Cambodian officer max 200 bhat for entry and exit stamps takes about 10 mins, for duty free look across road from tables you can see small mini mart recessed behind long row of shops! its legit, dont forget 1 carton of cigs 3rd of the price in Thailand 1 litre of spirt half the price of Thailand, dont buy anything on the street they are fake.

Also dont pay any attention to guys on the Thai side of the border saying you need to fill this form out etc you dont need to, also anyone who says they can fast track you through ignore them also.
