Translation Needed - Molasses

Featured Replies

I'm looking for molasses but before I go out and try some strange hand signals and broken thai language I'd really like a good translation for molasses, I've found a few examples but in my experience they can mean several different things:

molasses

n. กากน้ำตาล; น้ำเชื่อมข้นที่เหลือจากการตกผลึกของน้ำตาล (syn. treacle)

molasses

น้ำอ้อย

molasses

nu. มาแล้ซซิซ (พบน้อย)

1. น้ำอ้อย

my partner said it was 'gaag nam oi' does anybody have an idea if that's right? If I go asking for that will I get strange looks?

Thanks in advance!

molasses - โมลาส(English loan word) or กากน้ำตาล

Thanks for your help, I assume that is a general term for all kinds of molasses? And do you know if it is commonly available in Thailand? Sorry to digress :)
