Thanks Opalhort - very useful information :)

Got a version of the address in English? Thanks.

with my wife's help.........here it is.......

IMMIGRATION BUREAU (90 DAYS REGISTRATION)

Government Center Chaengwattana (Building B, 2nd floor) ,

No. 120 , Moo 3 , Chaengwattana Soi 7

Chaengwattana Road , Tungsonghong Sub-District, Laksi District,

Bangkok 10210

Thanks walailak. My other half confirms the translation, but adds that "90 Days Registration" can also be read as "90 Days Reporting" in this particular context.

Many thanks, now added to the 90 day reporting envelope and saved....

Just a question, for over 5 years have always sent it, can I still send it? as the new office is much closer to where I live

The law states you can do it by mail.

The old official address at Suan Plu also stated "90 Days Registration", so I guess we should stick with that.

Just for the fun of it.

Here is how Google translated the address:

Immigration regulations Division 1 (Job notified 90 days).

Center celebrate 80 official rainy season (B buildings. Class 2).

120 Moo 3, Soi 7 Chaengwattana.

Kwang Tung Laksi two rooms.

Bangkok 10210.

NOTE: DO NOT use this Google translated address for mail-ins!

The law states you can do it by mail.

That may be the law, however, if returned there will be a note attached that next time report at your designated Immigration Office, in person or by mail.

Thanks for that, Opalhort. As C/W is far away, I may start doing my 90 days by post instead of in person.

What exactly is needed to do a 90 days report by post? How long does it take to get the slip back? Do you send in your passport? (I wouldn't think so).

Copy of all passport pages (up to the latest arrival stamp in the Kingdom or latest visa stamp)

Copy of arrival/departure card TM. 6 (front and back)

Previous notifications of staying over 90 days (if any)

Completely filled in and signed notification form TM. 47

Envelope with 5 Baht stamp affixed and return address of foreigner for the officer in charge to send back the lower part of form TM. 47 after having received the notification. This part must be kept for reference and for future notifications of staying over 90 days.

The above mentioned documents must be sent by registered mail and the receipt of the registration kept by the foreigner.

Send the mail before the renewal date 7 days to .... (local immigration office)

No need to send in passport.

"Previous notification": ORIGINAL! but keep a copy at home.

The stamp on the return envelope has to be 10B now!

I always send by EMS (32 Baht) and make sure I track the mail online and print out once it has been received by Imm.

Including the 10B for the return envelope total cost 42B.

Never had any problem since the mail option was made available.

Edit: return mail usually takes 1-2 weeks (counting from your due date!) but don't get nervous if it takes a month (has happened to me, phoned and was told work overload was the reason). Important is that you mail it BEFORE (5-7 days) your your date
