Problem With Opera Browser

Featured Replies

Does anybody know why this happens with the homepage of TV and one or two other sites, when using the Opera browser.  I have reported it to them but it persists.

Try to switch to "user mode" in View menu and see what happens - if all content is there, it's a display issue (not your display, the way opera shows Thaivisa).

If the content is missing, it's something else.

You can try to reload Thavisa CSS files manually:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/style_images...ges/css_rte.css

and

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/style_images/css_17.css

That should refresh the corrupted copy held in your cache.

Thanks for this but I tried and still the same so I guess the problem is with Opera as it is fine with Chrome, Explorer and Firefox.  Opera does the same thing with the Categories page of BBC Iplayer.

You can't possibly get the same look if you switch between user/author modes. User mode you can tweak yourself via Preferences/Content menu.

I understand that the problem is with Opera, I'm just trying to figure out what is wrong exactly.

Or you can look into the page source (Ctrl-U), if the page looks like it's complete, then the problem could really be with one of those ads or hit-counters. You could turn on progress bar, reload the page, and see where it gets stuck.

You can block them by directly editing urlfilter.ini or via right click-block content/details. Blocking them would solve your problem permanently.
