Featured Replies

Hi

Can someone tell me how to turn my European/English laptop Thai? Is there some free software I can download?

Can I also buy little keyboad stickers to put on my keyboard?

How to enable Thai language support on your computer. IF you're running Windows XP, follow these steps...

Thai language support

1. Open Control Panel >> Regional and Language Options

2. Go to the Languages tab and select:

[x]
Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)

3. Click Apply.

*** Note: Windows XP installation media is required.

4. Go to the Advanced tab. Under Language for non-Unicode programs, select "Thai" from the list...

5. Click Apply; restart your computer when prompted.

^ ^ The procedures above only enables Thai language support. To change Windows menus and dialogs to Thai, you'll need to install the Thai Language Pack or a Thai localized version of Windows.

Additional Options

To change numbers, currency symbols, and the date/time to Thai format, go to the Regional Options tab, select "Thai" from the list.

To change keyboard or input method, click the Language tab. Under Text services and input languages, click Details... Here you can choose the default keyboard as well as change the Language Bar (key) settings.

Hope this helps!

You can download the Thai LIP (Language Interface Pack) from Microsoft's site here

About the stickers, then yes you can get stickers with Thai letters for the keyboard, black or white depending on your keyboard color.

Keyboards cost next to nothing and this with Thai letters. Just buy a new keyboard for about 200 - 300 Baht if it should be multimedia. BUT press every key and check if it works as long as you can bring it back.
