Electronic Pocket Translators?

Featured Replies

Has anyone come across a good pocket electronic translator for Thai?

I've got my dictionary and phrase book but not good with the accent/tones etc so was thinking an audio device I could carry around with my would be good.

Do they make Thai ones and are they any good?

Or are there ones for the iphone/PDAs etc?

There are these on Amazon, are they any good:

Thanks

There are 10 Thai-English phrase books for the iPhone (not including the free 'trial' versions)

There are 13 Thai-English dictionaries for the iPhone (Longdo Dict appeared in the past week).

There are 15 Thai-English vocab iPhone apps (includes two 'word of the day')

Some are good, some are ok, some are even hilarious.

I forgot the translators for the iPhone... at this count there are 15 with various attributes.

And of course you can get to Thai2English.com via Safari on your iPhone.

T2E has the added plus of being able to zoom into the Thai script, control transliteration styles, and more.

Do you know if the iphone apps have audio or are just text?

Thank you!

All have audio.

All do not have Thai script and/or transliteration.
