Travelling Between Hua Hin And Koh Samui

Featured Replies

Hello everybody.

Does exist any direct bus line between city Hua Hin and island Koh Samui and what is price for this transport(please inform me about both state transport and privately owned one) or is it necessary to change connection anywhere on the way? Is it also possible to buy so called combined ticket for bus and ferry together i.e similar to those which are usually offered in many travel agencies on Bangkogian Khaosan road(Songsern etc.)?

Thanks for answer

Vip air con buses leave nightly and take you direct on to the ferries for the crossing to Ko Samui. Cost around 500baht. Bus station is just of Petchakesem Rd.

The railway stations in Thailand are computer linked, so no different from Bangkok. From the train station you should be able to get a joint combo ticket, train, bus (to ferry) ferry to Ko Samui.

Alternatives or variations might be the overnight train from Bkk or the ferry from Chompun

done the ferry/train from samui to hua hin before - a good laugh if theres a few of ya!

Manicek, imho...take a plain bus (any company) from HH to Chumpon ferry pier....then switch onto LOMPRAYAH speed boat (route Chumpon-KoTao-Samui).

I think the fastest connection and still good price.

I think you can fly from HH to Samui also, if cost is not a consideration

Pretty sure you cannot fly that route.

The Bus is the best way to go .... VIP bus is not crazy expensive and has enough room. Don't worry if they don't issue a joint ticket .... just pay for the ferry on the bus and they'll give you a ticket.

Hua Hin - Samui flight number PG421 at 9 in the morning. Unless things have changed?
