Joey Boy
Open to any sensible suggestions as to what price to ask for a 1yr old 2nd hand Sony Vaio GRZ615S laptop/notebook computer, comes with XP Pro pre-installed, there are no marks/damage/or any fault what so ever with the unit. It has an english keyboard! Specification can be found here, GRZ615S Thanks for any help, as I dont have a clue
Phil Conners
You can buy a laptop with these specs today for under 40K. Given the very low 2nd hand market for laptops I'd think you could expect 20-25K, not more. I've found Cash Converters is a great place to get your stuff priced. They are very sharp and know exactly what everything is worth TO THEM. You just have to realize they are going to mark up anything they buy about 50-70% so if you have them appraise something and they offer you, say, 20,000, you immidiately know they will price it at around 30,000 and can put up for sale for a little under that price yourself. (they're a shop and can - and do - charge a little more for that) Edited March 29, 2005 by madsere
Joey Boy
can I get cash converters to sell it for say a 10% commision? or do they only buy 2nd hand stuff @ knock down prices?
Phil Conners
No commission sales, they buy and sell stuff. They also buy new stuff sometimes, factory excess...
