Two Eastern European Credit Card Fraudsters Caught By Pattaya’s Tourist Police.

Pattaya, October 15 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : In the early hours of Thursday Morning at the Pattaya Tourist Police Station, Police Lieutenant Colonel Suwan, the officer-in-charge of the station, held a press conference to announce the arrest of two Eastern European Tourists accused of purchasing Thai Currency at a Siam Commercial Bank Money Exchange Booth with counterfeit credit cards. Mr. Vitaly Pavlov aged 23 and a second man who was carrying a Ukrainian Passport under the name of Mr. Oleg Yanchoglo aged 33 and a Russian Passport under the name of Mr. Anton Kushmanov aged 29 were tracked down by Tourist Police Officers who were alerted by the Bank Teller and were eventually caught at a Car Park close to the Tepprasit Road junction with the Thappraya Road in Jomtien. They were driving a Silver Toyota Camry and a search of the car came-up with a Laptop Computer, many ATM Slips and a total of 6 Credit Cards and 520,000 Baht in cash which is suspected of being withdrawn fraudulently. The Credit Cards were issued by 4 Thai Banks and were all confirmed as counterfeit. The two suspects were later transferred to Pattaya Police Station for processing and are due in Court early next week where they will face charges of Credit Card Fraud.
