Single-entry Renewal

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I am currently on a single-entry 60 visa and want to renew for the extra 30 days. I know one can renew in Koh Samui and assume one can in Bangkok but is there a list of evry city with an office you can do it in? Is it an immigration office one needs to go to?

Cheers!

I think you mean you want to apply for a 30 day extension on your current 60 day tourist visa (you cannot renew a visa in Thailand). You can do that at any immigration office. For Bangkok you would need to go to the immigration office in Chaeng Wattana. You need to take with you completed application form TM7, recent passport sized photo, copies of your passport photo page, visa page, entry/permission to stay page + TM6 departure card. Fee 1900 baht.

Thanks Thaiphoon - sorry for the inaccurate terminology. Is there a list of other offices which an do this in other cities in Thailand?

Cheers

There is a very detailed map of offices and locations in the pinned area at top of forum under useful information.

I suspect it is important enough to be pinned by itself.
