do u need to make a company or what

what about taxes from the rent

we are investing about 5 mill so is there free taxes ontil the 5 mill are paid back from the rent

Technically you will be making money in Thailand. So technically you need a work permit... And technically you need to pay Taxes.

But as many foreigners own buildings like this... there is what we call property management company. I'm surprised your not aware of it...

They will cash the rent of everyone every month, pay the taxes for you, and subtract their service fees which is about 7% after tax.

This is the legal and easiest way.

But if you and your wife wants to take care of it. Your wife can cash the money and pay the taxes on the property revenues which I can't tell you how much because it depends on how much you will rent 1 unit and your total rent. She should go inquire at the government office who take care of this where you stay. I know about Bangkok but other areas I am ignorant.

yes it will be in cash
