Ais 3g Update

Featured Replies

OK all you net junkies I'm on the new AIS 3G Air Card broadcasting from Phrao, about 100 klicks NE of CM.

The speed is not the greatest but not bad for being away from CM. This well definitely work for my short trips around Thailand. Now if the rest of Thailand well join the 3G world. :)

OK then have a very bad luck because you are out of range from the 3G signal .

It goes as far Maejoo and

merrim an to Hangdong.

So what you are getting is GPRS signal with edge max 180k :D :D

That is correct. AIS 3G is only available in CM but you flip over to edge when you leave the area. Oh AIS 3G goes out to Doi Saket.Remember AIS #g is only avaible in CM for the time but will expand.

May be yes and may be no but it sure beats the other c--p that in CM.

What speeds do you get in CM just out of interest? I use the cat CDMA but I'd like to see if the AIS 3g is faster. Also is it stable, how much does it cost?

here's the cdma for this morning

Nothing to shout from the roofs about, but it is almost never down. I can only remember a couple of times when it slowed to a crawl.

I've had it since rollout in CM June 2008.

im getting a new line in next week, and by all accounts its going to be heaps better than what CM has ever seen, so advanced that it will be evolutionary, it includes 2 free handsets!!!
