Connecting To Wi-max

Going into details on how I arrived at this oportunity would take too long for a 2 finger typist(LOL) , however , a caregiver in the next apartment to mine had Wi-Max installed by the same ISP as I use because I recommended them , Her employer(the guy who pays the shot) told me he had it installed for 2 computer usage so I could have the benifit of 528kbps to enable me to use a vidio phone to call North Amerca with toll free access .I asked the guys who made the instalation how I should Go about making a connection "Call my company "was the response , they are not intersted in helping me becuase even though they sold a servie through my recomendation , they would lose my account .

Question , can any one advise me on how to go about making this connection in simple laymans terminology , I am reasonably capable with keeping my old stye computer working efficiently but that is about it , I am far from being any sort of an expert , any help would be more than appreciated , thank you .

By the way , the telephone I brought with me from Canada will be available in Thailand early next year .
