Thunderbird Email With Thai Characters Mac

Featured Replies

HI I use THunderbird as my email client and would like to send out messages in Thai from time to time.

HOwever i I can switch languages on my mac and it is fine on a text editor but can not compose an email in Thai. I have gone to Preferences --- fonts--- Thai and it wont change. I have also tried to cut and paste and that didnt work.

I can't seem to find any support for this in the MOZ forums either.

Thanks!

Try Tools - Settings - Layout - Fonts.

Take a look - change it in "Character Encodings" to Thai

have you ever tried to type your Thai messages in Word and paste them into Thunderbird?

Try this and send yourself a message. Try it with the normal settings you can see in my screenshot

and another try with encoding set to Thai. Its worth a try
