Hi

Regarding the rule that states that a visitor cannot spend more than 6 months out of any 12 in the UK.

My fiance returned to thailand at the begining of August after his 2nd tourist Visa. Can we apply for a fiance visa in November or would we need to wait 6 months from him returning home before applying for this.

If we apply before the 6 months is he likely to be refused.

It feels like every time I get my head around one part of this visa thing, I get totally confused by another. I really dont want to mess up his application.

Any advice is greatfully received. :)

A visitor cannot normally spend more than 6 months out of any 12 in the UK. However, a fiance visa is not a visit visa, it is a settlement visa.
