If you go to Cambodia, bring US Dollars.Or Thai Baht.

From the border is just few Km. to K.Kong, you'll find many boys with motorbike waiting for you.

Most of them have connection with Guest Houses, don't let them choose for you, just be firm and polite.Normally they try to overcharge, not a big deal anyway.

From K.K. to Snooky you can choose between Minivan or the 8 AM Boat, which is better if the sea is calm.

As far as I know and have been there, one foto for a Visa or Business Visa should be enough, but better have more with you.

The border Immigration, which is on a nice romantic spot,

want Baht, about 1.200.- when I crossed last time.

I tried it with 20 Dollars, but they let me wait and wait until I gave them the 1.200.- B.

The Immigration officer handed me later 200 B. back, anyway I waited long! better to pay what they ask there.

Koh Kong is some km away, Motobikes and taxis, private cars are waiting.

Take Dollars with you, thats the currency in cambodia (The ATMs in Cambodia give you Dollars when you use them)

and for smaller things or tips or short Mototaxi drives some cambodian Rial,

Baht is in Koh Kong accepted, in Sihanoukville not so much.

I slept last time in the best Hotel near the bridge the CITY HOTEL. I think 20 Dollar.

But its on other places much cheaper, a german guy, he rents also Motobikes has a place for 6 Dollar or less? 3-4 ?

I not remember, but you cannot compare that rooms of course!

I hear that the boat is more expensive as the buses, about 12 Dollar? (really buses, no Minivans, at the time I made that trip this year)

and also the sea can be rough,

the road is very good, so I prefer the bus and did that trip to Sihanoukville also by Motobike-Enduro-is not necessary, which I rented in Koh Kong.

If you want more advise let me know.
