I want to know how to get a 60 day visa while in the US before coming here, and how to extend that another 30 days after arriving.

I've read all the links and posts dealing w/ it but they don't tell ya exactly waht ya need in the USA (for an American citizen).

Just apply at a consulate in the US, you will be able to apply by mail. Just check out your nearest consulate, but otherwise Houton seems to have a good reputation.

To extend a tourist visa you just go to an immgration office in Thailand with 1,900 baht and a pass photo and fill in a form.
