October 15, 200322 yr This is trickier to believe than its is to explain, and boy is it tricky to explain ! ??? I have two different methods of phoning from the UK to thailand one is directly from my mobile / home phone (option 1-will show my no./name on mobile) and the other is through a phonecard then punch in a pin no. and calling no. (option 2 wont show my phone no.) Before anyone asks yes both numbers used are identical. I tried calling my girl in thailand using option 2 and got no reply, then tried using option 1 and some guy answered !! Tried it a few times same result everytime, so sends the girl an angry text oops ! Now i tried again today using option 2 she answers, then tried option 1 he answers, confused - I am ! So here's for the grande finale, I tried using options 1 & 2 simultaneously from different phones and hey presto I'm speaking to both of them and yes they seem to be in different places ! Another bit of knowledge is that when I tried another time option 2 was answered by her and option 1 was a missed call on her phone ? Solve that ! ???
October 15, 200322 yr AIS ? there has been a number of "cross calls" with AIS numbers. It seems that Toxin company is having troubles with the routing of calls. Maybe they should upgrade their software. But that would require them to spend money. This is kind of dangerous because if your jealous Thai wife calls and a woman answer because of the "cross routing", your explanation will not do anything for her to change her mind and she will cut your balls for it. Remember when we could have voice mail ? now it's gone with AIS, unless you have long term contracts.
