I wish to set up a company shortly but need to make some enquiries via e-mail. For this purpose I believe that it would look more professional if I had a .com e mail address.

Can anyone advise how this is established???

buy a .com through a registry provider or hosting isp.

Have them setup your domain + mail

takes around 7 days tops.

uk2.net will allow you to register .com .co.uk etc. you can have just about whatever you like as long as it is available.

There is a tool on their homepage to check availability.
