I have never been to Harleys, but many friends have, and I have been considering a visit.

However having just looked at their website -harleysprasat.com - it says Closed for re-construction!

Nobody has mentioned this. Is it the bar that is being re-constructed or the web-site?

Na, its the web but the bars on the backside of Harleys could sure use some fresh cosmetics. :)

Hi Nick

I quite often visit Friday night to Gary's/Harveys as the big market is on and its bloody handy getting rid of the 'trouble n strife' for a few hours, prior to her driving me home.

Its business as usual

South east corner of Hwy 214 & 24 intersection. As your going south from Surin you will come to 214&24 intersection (stop lights) look to the SE and you will see a Castro Oil sign Harleys Bar is just next door (in back). Go thru intersection about 100m and make a right turn go between building and you will see a large market area make another right go up towards 24 and on your right will be Harleys Bar and Garry's restaurant.

Gary's restaurant next door to the Harley Bar does very good food also, and he has a good selection of all sorts of goodies, like home made pies, steak, salmon etc.

He just told me that the Harley Bar certainly is open every day. I do know that Paul does sometimes open the shutters a bit late, or if there is a party going on he might close for a little while.

Possibly the day you went there might have been the day they were having a few drinks to celebrate the return of James at the Leelawaddee Gardens and Paul was over there.
