Strange Re-directs

Featured Replies

This has only started in the last hour, and I haven't downloaded anything recently or opened any dodgy links in emails or anything like that.

My homepage is set to google.co.th, but when I try to open it I am sometimes - not every time - being re-directed to the homepage of ESET anti-virus software: http://www.eset.com/index.php

Is anyone else getting this? Could it be the Thailiban thought police messing around, or do you think I've got myself a virus somehow?

it is symptomatic of virus behaviour but I did a quick google of ESET virus and it didnt come up with anything obvious.

Btw it is amazing how useful it is to google error messages or pop-ups. I often get pointed in the right direction when I do this. Are you running NOD32 antivirus ?

I'm running McAfee, which is showing no results after a full scan.

Have you tried a different browser? That might be the easiest solution, but if you're already using firefox, that would suck to go to IE.
