Rumfoord Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 PM recieves Thailand national symbols 2010 greeting cards produced by National Identity Office BANGKOK, 27 October 2009 (NNT) – The National Identity sub-committee presented a set of 2010 greeting cards printed in national symbols to the Prime Minister. The Thailand's best-known national symbols include the elephant, the national flower Cassia Fistula or golden showers, and the Thai pavilion. The three symbols were made into 2010 greeting cards handed to Prime Minister Mr Abhisit Vejjajiva and the rest of the cabinet today before the cabinet meeting. The cards were produced in response to the Cabinet Resolution in October 2001, to strengthen Thai unity as well as to promote Thailand National Identities to the world. The youth that were selected for the government's cultural projects were at the Government House to give the prime Minister a souvenir pin and the project's press kits. The card set includes three-style printed cards, with 4 cards for each print. The cases and 12 stickers with the Office of the Prime Minister logo are also included in the set. The cards can be purchased by postal order payable to the Finance Division Director, the Prime Minister Office P.O. Box the Government House as well as through Krung Thai Bank transfer to 067-0-0-5557-3 or purchased directly at the National Identity Office.
