Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi launched the “How to live in the UAE” Guide Book

On 15 October 2009, Royal Thai Embassy organized a function at the Ambassador’s residence to launch the “How to live in the UAE” Guide Book which had been published for the first time since the establishment of the Royal Thai Embassy in the UAE. Its main purpose is to provide guidance to all Thai nationals residing and working in the UAE to be able to live a happy and quality life in accordance with local customs and cultures.

On 15 October 2009, Royal Thai Embassy organized a function at the Ambassador’s residence to launch the “How to live in the UAE” Guide Book which had been published for the first time since the establishment of the Royal Thai Embassy in the UAE. Its main purpose is to provide guidance to all Thai nationals residing and working in the UAE to be able to live a happy and quality life in accordance with local customs and cultures. This guide book covers all necessary materials including the facts and backgrounds of the country, immigration and visa requirements, business set up, labour law, important contact numbers, and essential Arabic words. Moreover, the Embassy is in the process of uploading an electronic version of the book on to our website which should enable easy and extensive access for the general public.

On this occasion, Amb. Karn Chiranond provided introduction of the book as well as distributed them to all distinguished guests of the Thai community who were invited to the function. He further requested their assistance in disseminating this essential information to other colleagues and close allies for further reference.
