Thai Baht Or Us Dollars

Featured Replies

Hi all i would like go Penang for my ED Visa can i bring Thai Baht Thanks

Yes you can!

You'll get around 10 ringgit for 100 Baht.

Dollars work just as well, although I doubt you'll gain anything as you exchange currency twice (unless you have the US$ lying around).

Don't exchange money at the airport.

You get better deals with the Indian exchangers on Chulia Street.

Don't go to the consulate yourself costs more in taxi money than using an agent.

Contact my friend Jim on Chulia Street.
