Stop Spam On Mobile

Call the service center of your provider and tell them to stop. Worked great for me with True.

That's only a part of the problem, the other part is having given your mobile number to various shops and suppliers over time each one tries to use it for direct market. I bought a PC from Chi Chang in Chiang Mai four years ago and I get at least one SMS a week from them advertising sales and specials, my service provider can't help with things like that, answer is, don't give out your mobile number I'm afraid.

Recently in one of the English papers they listed the special number to call for each of the mobile companies. I have misplaced the cutting I made.

AIS demanded that we gave them all spam messages name + ID number, more than 30. Callcenter did not stop them though even after many calls, so we finally changed mobile company. If you ever surf with your mobile, expect spam messages to continue.

Called AIS call center, told them to turn off all commercials, and they did.

Don't give your mobile number out when you sign up for something. If they insist on a number, make a little "mistake" :)
