lopburi3
You obtain a two entry visa valid for use up to 90 days from application. First entry gives you a 60 day stay which you can extend for 30 (or about 28 days if you want to use second entry) for 1,900 baht at an immigration office then exit country/return for a new 60 day stay which can then be extended 30 days as before. Both entries must be made in the original 90 day period but your second 60 day stay and second extension can extend well beyond that period. JimmyGreaves
How long do you have to wait for this in vientienne and do you have to fly in and out?
lopburi3
"this" being a tourist visa? Next workday as is the case in most Consulates. Most people travel across the bridge - arriving in Udon/Nong Khai via plane/bus/train or car.
