Have to do some refilling, cutting and new planting, but the gardener around the corner tries to screw me farang.

Don't know about BKK rates (we live Phuket) but our gardener is 1st rate, does the garden at major hotel and ours on day off. We pay him 1000 baht/day, which I thought is very pricey, but hard to find a good one. Cheaper one is easily available but can ruin very expensive plantings in no time at all.
