Krabi Hotels (not Too Expensive!)

rsn

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations for hotels in Krabi that are:

  • near the beach (pref. w/in walking distance)
  • not too expensive (around 2K THB)
  • have air conditioning

My wife, my self, and 5 others will be visiting Krabi in January (yes, during peak season) and we will need 4 rooms.

It would help if you stated whereabouts in Krabi you want to stay.

Plenty of small beach places on the coast (not all with good swimming) or Ao Nang or the islands or the cheapest option is Krabi Town and take a boat out to the beach.

Highly recommend Season bungalows on Koh Jum.

The prices at Season bungalows seem almost too good to be true for Krabi. Can you tell me a little more (anything you can offer) from personal experience regarding this establishment? How far is it from the beach? Can you tell me anything about the area surrounding this place?

We were thinking about Ao Nang, but could be persuaded to stay elsewhere.

Friendly staff, good food, decent beach on your doorstep. Very quiet spot.

Go for the more expensive rooms as they are much nicer. I only spent 3 nights there but I could have done a couple of weeks easily. Some other good beaches to visit.

Its a very relaxing island and still relatively cheap.

Hope this helps a little.
