Looking For 240v To 24 Vac Inverter.

I'm looking for a 240VAC to 24 VAC inverter or a 24 VDC to 24 VAC inverter. ( +/- 50 Watt )

Does anybody know where i can buy this inverter in Thailand and if it possible to buy this online in Thailand from a Thai company.

I found this inverter via the internet but have to send it from the USA which I would like to avoid.

As always all info is welcome.

240VAC to 24VAC is not an inverter.

It is done with a transformer.

You can get one of these at either ......

Ban Mor near Chinatown. They have numerous electronics shops

that will have this.

Also on the 5th floor of Fortunetown to the right is a parts

store which will almost certainly have a 10:1 downconverter transformer.

An inverter converts DC to AC

It is much more expensive than a 50/60Hz transformer.

Is the device you want to run 50 watts? If it is you will need 2.5 amps output from the transformer or greater.

It would be useful to know the application, what do you need to power?

The maximum power used is only about 1 amp influx current.

Normal running current is around 0.5 amp.

I use it for controlling water solenoid valves in my water filtration system.

And offcourse your are right it is a transformer for the 240VAC to 24 VAC but a inverter for the 24VDC to 24 VAC.

I'm living at Phuket does anybody knows if keehin ( wrong spelling ) sells this.
