Prices are uniform across all of the retail outlets of which there are branches in almost every mall in Bangkok and are normally set by the Brands themelves. Guarantees will also be backed by the mother companies and I have never seen an outlet, whether specialist or franchise offer more than that. If you do find a specialist shop who is able to converse in English and hence give you better sales advice, the price would probably be higher than in the franchises.

If you really want a deal based on price, buy in Singapore where there is no duty and you can claim the VAT back at the airport. For high value items, the saving is more than the cost of the airticket !
