Os X Close To Native Support Of The Ccu-680

Featured Replies

In 10.6.2, I accidentally found that I can create a new networking device, and instead of using the Franklin drivers, I can use "Generic" and "CDMA" as vendor/modem settings and connect to CAT CDMA.

I found that this gets around the problem I always had with Franklin which is that the first one, two, or three connection attempts fail even though the signal is strong. The native drivers always connect the first time.

Unfortunately, you still need the cursed "Franklin Modem Status" app to detect that the modem is there in the first place.
