I am a Canadian living in BKK with Thai wife and Canadian/Thai Baby boy.....well time is flying and he is almost 2 years old now. Time to start teaching him some sports. Does anyone know where a person can find hockey sticks in BKK. I know there are a few hockey teams around someplace, but have yet to see any hockey equipment. Even the plastic ends that can be fitted to wooden hockey stick shafts would suffice. I would like to get a few and get some of the boys in the neighborhood playing a little street hockey......in Canada its really a big deal. Any help would be appreciated.

As well.....any info on ice hockey being played here in BKK would be nice too if you have any info.

OK....and I probably left myself open to be flamed somehow about Canadians and hockey.....so feel free to have at it if you wish.

There is in fact a full hockey league in Bangkok. We also host two international tournament a year. We play at the Imperial Samrong every Sunday (league) and every Wednesday night (Shinny). If you play, we would love to have you with us. Our team is called the Flying Farangs and you can find the website easily by searching google (can't post URL here)

At the arena, there is a full pro shop where you can buy your sticks and everything else you want (almost everything)
