Request For Help Re: Ocr For Thai

Featured Replies

Does anybody here have OCR software that can take a .jpg and create a .doc file in Thai?

I have only two pages in Thai which need to be put into an editable .doc file and after searching for OCR on Google it appears that everything is payware and I don't have the time to go through the "learning curve" (never used OCR before).

I have scanned the 2 pages in high-res (1,200 dpi, B&W), about 4MB each page.

Can somebody help me to run the two pages through their OCR software and send the .doc file back to me?

Obviously we would have to exchange e-mail addresses so PM is the best way to reply.

This is a one time matter and no editing/correction is needed to be done. We can do the corrections/editing here.

Thank you very much for anybody who could help.

I'd be interested to know what Thai OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software is available.

Abbyy finewriter version 9 build 1019 or later recognises Thai.

Think there is version 10 now.
