I told my wifes family that I would feel like I was buying a prostitute and refused ..... they came around eventually. I respect other peoples culture and all but they also need to respect mine even though I'm in their country. Sometimes from things I read I think people do a lot of things they find objectionable because of culture. I bought her a nice ring and a new camry and everyone was happy ! lol

Now think of all the prostitutes you can get with the money you saved.
