60 Day Tourist + 30 Day Stamp

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a 60 day tourist visa that expires Dec. 31, but I got a 30 day stamp at the immigration office in chiang mai today. My question is, if I leave Thailand after 90 days, go to Cambodia or wherever for a few weeks, then come back by plane, will I recieve a 30 day visa on arrival?

heard there was this rule after 90 days you have to spend 90 days out of the country or something. Also, is there a limit to how many times you can fly in and out of country to get 30 day visa? do you need a plane ticket showing you are leaving in 30 days ? thanks

Yes you will received 30 day visa exempt entry.

No there is no restriction on how many days you can stay - that ended.

No there is no restriction on the number of times you can do this.

That (ticket) would be an airline rule and not likely to be asked in local area. Immigration almost never checks it.
