Re-entry Visas

Featured Replies

Went to Pattaya Immigration on Thursday to get a re-entry visa. Took me an hour and 15 minutes. The procedure was normal until my passport reached the last desk. As this was late in the afternoon one would think it would be very quick but this guy was very deliberate in that everyone would have to wait for him. I sat for one hour and in that time he processed about 8 passports. Seems like he just wanted to make everyone wait - I think the other officials were embarrased about it all but would not say anything. So best to allow lots of time for this excuse for efficiency.

Ronnie, your post implies that the process for obtaining a re-entry visas takes a long time as a standard, but actually it's nothing more than an immigration officer who's playing games or was just frustrated.
