Everyone on this forum has been around :)

So I am interested to hear comments on the best beaches you have visited in Thailand.

Equally interested in the best beaches you have ever visited in the world.

This is not from someone who is working to gather info here, just a beach lover....I,m a mechanic not a market researcher.

Personally.....best beach in Thailand was((1995) Bamboo Island close to Koh Pi Pi.....sorry dont know the Thai name for the island, last beach I went to was Jomtien and its a disgrace.

Also visited Koh Bulone which was lovely, close to Koh Tarataou near Satun.

Best beaches of all time ,,for me,,,are the stretch of beaches along the Carribean coast in the Tyrona National Park in Colombia (1994).

Oh how I wish I was still there, in all of these places, dream on.

Best beach:

Anse Lazio (Praslin, Seychelles)

Spiaggia Rosa (Budelli, Sardinia)

Thailand, mmm, I don't know, maybe "The Beach" in Koh Phi Phi Leh, 15 years ago, before the movie?

Great to read your comments.

How I wish I was heading to a nice beach,,,in fact I am heading to make tunnels under Singapore.

But I like to dream,,,and these dreams keep me in check.

South Beach Miami, Florida USA

Everynight the machinery comes out and manicures the sand so that in the morning the beach looks like it was never walked on

Incredibly clean and the hottest girls in the world

Favourite beach in Thailand is Bottle Beach Koh Phanghan, although my first time at Maya Bay was memorable.....I went not long after tsunami....my longtail was the only boat there, and me and my girl were the only people on the beach for well over an hour......Paradise!!

Although certainly not the best in the world, I like the look and feel of Kata Noi in Phuket.

White Beach on Boracay has to be right up there for one of the best.

I agree with jackr on Boracay.

A little lees popular, I was impressed with the miles of unspoiled beaches down Yalu and Patani way when driving down to the Malay border.
