Richb2004v2
I work in the middle of the Sahara desert and get a very slow internet connection though my Nokia mobile phone. We are not using Edge there yet or G3 or any other advanced technology. I am always looking for a way to speed up my connection and wondered will an air card do it. Actually I am not even sure what an air card is but I keep seeing them for sale all over. Any ideas?
sorensen
An aircard is just a small device, modem if u will, that enable u to log on using a SIM card. I use an air-card in Brunei and get down loading speeds of 1.7 mbit/sec, but of course in a 3g network. It will not improve your speed.
