Did you do a clean install of Windows7 or did you do an upgrade? Some problems like this are common after doing an upgrade installation.

Is the game you are playing written for Vista or Windows 7? You could try right clicking on the icon and select compatibility for XP.

I did a total clean rebuild with my Windows 7 - i have zero problems on anything (except for one game that has a known problem with over-heating GFX cards - but that isnt Win7's fault)

i did a clean set up,i think the nividia 9500GT make the problems.

i GET COLLOR SPIKES WHEN I PLAY AND THAN HE STOPS,END YES DE GAMES ARE FOR VISTA AND XP .EVEN IN COMPTABILETY XP HE STOPS

Unfortunately Home Premium does not support XP mode. Only Professional and Ultimate support backwards compatibility modes.

Is the 9500 overheating or is the power supply sufficient?

Maybe you want to update it as it is a low spec GPU compared to the rest of the computer.

What game are you trying to play?
