Is It Worth Going To Pantip Today?

When I was out in Bangkok yesterday (Thursday), I noticed that most of the big stores were open but most of the small stores were closed for Songkran.

What is the situation in Pantip Plaza - is it mostly open or mostly closed? If it's mostly closed, does it open on Saturday or Monday?

I doubt they ever close except for Royal Birhdays perhaps (?) . I'm popping by there this afternoon.

Many of the smaller shops are closed for Songkran and even beyond that.

Also - do you really want to risk buying something, then taking it back because, for some reason, it doesn't work after you got splashed with water and talcum powder...
