Avast Problems

Featured Replies

At around 1:00 PM today, I started getting massive avast Trojan warnings.

This must be an up-date problem.

Sorry if I am repeating what someone else may have reported.

I just hope that I have not deleted too many files, in response to what I thought was

a real warning........ :D:)

So did I... :)

I've just checked on google now (Win32:Delf-MZG [Trj])... and apparently it's nothing.

Regarding myself: Malwarbytes, Spybot and even Smart defrag where attacked!

Too, bad I've just get rid of avast at the present...

Sorry, I am not computer savvy at all... so, clues from you guys will be the most appreciated :D

Avast has been showing many many FALSE POSITIVES starting today. Avast had an error in a database update.

It has been fixed with the latest update 091203-1.

Be sure that you have the latest database update even if you have to do a manual update.

Then RESTORE any files that you moved to the virus vault and you should be OK.

Same here, moved many files to the vault. Will restore them once a new update comes out.

Or could it be a trick to sell us the professional edition?!?

OK... too much paranoia and conspiracy theories... as Khun Opalhort said, better wait and see...

The latest iAVS update published on: 3.12.2009 version: 091203-1.

This VPS update contains only fixes to existing definitions or removal of false alarms.
