On Friday, 11 Dec, my wife and I will be driving to CM from Bangkok and will stay for 3 nights before driving on to Doi Inthanon and Mae Hong Son. While in CM there are a couple of programs on True that we would like to see but the Chiang Mai Gate Hotel where we will be staying doesn't have True. Can anyone recommend somewhere in CM (bar, restrauant etc) that has True?

So you go on holiday, stay at a hotel that doesn't have cable, then want to know where you can go to watch your favorite TV shows? OK. Presumably the bar, restaurant etc will them change stations for you? If it is Panda TV you yearn just go to the zoo.

This reminds me of my ex wife wanting to tape 'Coronation Street' for three weeks while we were going to be out of the UK. Why worry about such banal crap when you are supposed to be on holiday and 'away from it all'?
