December 13, 200916 yr Wife would like to get some repairs to a couple of pairs of shoes. Used to be a guy in our village but he has moved on. Any directions would be appreciated
December 14, 200916 yr Please do a search for the topic here in the CM subforum and you'll find plenty of info about a well-known repair guy I recommended and gave directions to at Thanin Market. I may have written it as 'Tannin' 'Tanin' in the original reply. And may have called it 'Talaat' or 'Dtalaat' as well. But it's all there along with other replies.
December 14, 200916 yr There is a guy and his son out in front (side actually) of Talaat Ruam Chok that does very good work and is cheap. There are always plenty of shoe repair stalls out by CMU, Payap, etc. Any where near student housing you will see a few of them.
December 14, 200916 yr There used to be 2 at the back and side of Warorot market - but haven't been lately so don't know if they are still there. Also used to be one just south (metres not kms) of Holiday Inn, same side of road.
December 14, 200916 yr Sir or Ms. Sparkles: It's all about using the advanced search button. Sorry, but you might be owing me a beer if I do much more, though I am happy to point you in the rt direction. here's some of what I've dug up for ye: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Shoe-Repair-...;hl=Shoe+repair http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Cobblers-t27...;hl=Shoe+repair http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Soles-t31117...;hl=Shoe+repair Hope one of these works out for you. Let us know how it goes so that this thread has some useful conclusions as long as it's here. Good Luck to you and your shooze !
December 14, 200916 yr Author Thank you realthaideal. Being a dinasour I'm a slow learner .Maybe if "advanced search" was positioned alongside the other "search topic" I might have stumbled across it but I'm sure there is a good reason for it being where it is. Will try to do better next time !!!!! Thanks again
